Parent Project:

Work is proceeding, slowly but surely, on the webframe for Adriana's jewelry cabinet. I had cut the tenons on the table saw several weeks ago, but I still need to cut the mortises for all of those tenons. I planned to cut them by hand, using the Narex mortising chisels I just recently received as gifts. However, pounding away to create the mortises cannot be done while Lucas is napping, since the shop is right below his room and his brother's room.

This past weekend I managed to complete three more of the web frames, numbers four through six. I still have three more to go, although I did manage to mark the mortise locations and score the locations with the marking knife.   I hope to finish these mortises in the next few days, if I can grab a few minutes away from parenting while the kids are still awake.

Webframes 7 through 9 cut but still needing mortises
Webframes 1 through 6 completed
Webframes 1 through 6 - still needing planing and sizing
